This comedy follows Emma, a widow who embarks on a mission to bring her husband back from the dead so that she can punish him for cheating on her. Emma (Lynn Cohen), a solitary widow in her 80’s, finds old polaroids of her husband, Edmund, in bed with another woman. She vacuums up his ashes and uses the vacuum cleaner as a proxy for him as she interrogates, punishes, and tries to resurrect him. When Emma finally confronts her own jealousy and sadness, she begins to see how she can learn to live her life as Emma without Edmund.

When she is visited by Rahab (Ching Valdes-Aran), the harlot/spy from biblical times, she is forced to choose between her life at the club and a life as a superhero.

Half Life was chosen to be produced as part of the New York City Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment's screenwriting competition and aired on the NYC Life television channel.
